Propane tanker leaking after Chesterfield car crash
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A propane tanker is leaking after a car crash in Chesterfield County Wednesday afternoon. Shortly before 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, officers with Chesterfield County Police Department were called to the 7700 block of Woodpecker Road, when a propane tanker overturned and hit a tree that fell across the road. Officials said there were no reported injuries, but the tanker is currently leaking as of the time of reporting. According to police, Woodpecker Road will be closed for "an extended period of time." Officers are urging drivers to avoid the area.
