Probe into deadly plane crash near Minneapolis begins; locals grieve loss of pilot
Local nonprofits and charitable organizations in the Twin Cities are honoring the pilot who tragically passed away in a plane crash near Minneapolis over the weekend. Authorities are recovering parts of the aircraft from a Brooklyn Park residence, with further investigation to be conducted off-site. While it cannot be confirmed if Chief Administration Officer Terry Dolan was on board, there is a belief he was. Dolan is being fondly remembered for his extensive community involvement, including his longstanding service on Artspace's board of directors. Colleagues describe him as a humble, generous, and astute individual. His contributions to U.S. Bancorp Center and the revitalization of downtown Minneapolis post-COVID are not going unnoticed. Besides his work at U.S. Bank, Dolan also dedicated time to various organizations like the Minnesota Opera, The Minneapolis Foundation, and the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University. Initial findings on the crash are expected in the coming weeks.
