Probe continues into deadly Des Moines motorcycle collision
The Des Moines Police Department is currently investigating a fatal collision between a motorcycle and a car that took place on the south side of the city. The incident occurred at the intersection of SW 9th Street and Luster Lane near Blank Park Zoo on Wednesday evening. Tragically, the motorcyclist succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while the car driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital. There were two passengers in the car who thankfully emerged unharmed. The identities of those involved have not been disclosed as the DMPD continues its investigation into the tragic event.
