Preliminary report on Toronto plane crash released.

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) has published an initial report regarding the Delta plane crash at Toronto's Pearson Airport, which occurred when the right landing gear of a Delta flight from Minneapolis failed, causing the aircraft to overturn and lose a wing on landing. The incident, which occurred on a snowy runway after heavy snowfall, resulted in the spillage of jet fuel. An explosion on the left wing happened after the evacuation of passengers and crew. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the explosion. The aircraft's cockpit voice recorder (CVR) and flight data recorder (FDR) were retrieved and sent to the TSB Engineering Laboratory for analysis. Fortunately, all 80 individuals on board survived the crash, although 21 passengers and crew members sustained injuries, with many requiring hospitalization. This aviation accident is one of several that have happened recently.
