Possible DUI connection in collision causing death of 80-year-old man in Orange County
A tragic incident in Orange County on Sunday night resulted in the death of an 80-year-old pedestrian after being struck by a sedan. The driver, identified as Bryan Reyes, 26, is facing vehicular manslaughter charges for driving under the influence. The collision occurred on La Veta Avenue and Devon Road, where the pedestrian was fatally injured outside of a marked crosswalk. The Orange Police Department reported the incident just before 8 p.m., leading to the closure of La Veta Avenue for investigation purposes.
