Possibility of 4 school buses colliding in Manatee County
A possible collision involving four school buses and another vehicle took place on Saturday in Manatee County, Florida. The incident occurred on State Road 70 in Bradenton, close to Lakewood Ranch Boulevard. Cellphone footage from a witness, Joshua Mather, showed emergency personnel at the scene approaching the buses and an EMT vehicle nearby. The footage revealed damage to the back of the last bus and extensive damage to the front of a dark SUV involved in the crash. Parents mentioned that the buses were returning from a band competition with students on board, some of whom were injured. One individual was even airlifted to a hospital, but the total number of injuries is still uncertain. Efforts to contact the Florida Highway Patrol and the Manatee County Sheriff's Office for further information have not yet yielded a response.
