Portion of State Route 46 closed due to crash
AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - All lanes on a portion of State Route 46 are shut down due to a crash Monday. The closure is near Ashley Circle in Austintown, between Mahoning Avenue and Silica Road. The road has been closed since about 4:20 a.m. following a crash that took out a utility pole. Crews are working to set a new one. It's not clear how much longer the road will be closed. Power outages have been reported in the area. FirstEnergy expects power to be restored by 11:30 a.m. The details of the crash or how many vehicles were involved are not known at this time.
