Police vehicle hit during response to crash
A St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department vehicle was hit on Friday night in a collision at the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Page Boulevard in the Fountain Park neighborhood. The vehicle was obstructing traffic when a minivan carrying an adult man and a child struck it. The occupants of the van fled but were later apprehended by the police nearby. The officer and clinician from the crisis response unit in the SLMPD suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital, as were those involved in the initial accident. The well-being of the man and child is currently uncertain.
