Police report man died in rollover crash on I-95 exit ramp in Augusta
State Police officials have reported a fatal accident involving a man named Shaun McFarlin from Augusta. The crash occurred around 1 p.m. on Thursday on the Exit 113 off-ramp of Interstate 95 south in Augusta. McFarlin was driving a 2006 Ford pickup when the vehicle rolled over after leaving the roadway. Sadly, McFarlin passed away at the scene due to the injuries sustained in the crash. It was noted that he was not wearing a seatbelt and speed may have been a contributing factor. The off-ramp was closed for about 90 minutes as authorities conducted their investigation. This incident took place just north of the starting point for the Maine Turnpike on the southbound side of I-95.
