Police: Man in critical condition following shooting and car accident

The Louisville Metro Police were alerted to the situation on Friday night around 10:45 p.m. at the 1000 block of Euclid Avenue, reporting a car collision with injuries. Upon arrival, officers discovered a vehicle that had struck a tree, revealing that a man inside the car had been shot. The man was swiftly taken to the hospital with severe injuries deemed critical and life-threatening by the police. The Homicide Unit is actively looking into the case and identified a separate site near the crash as part of their investigation.
