Police investigating fatal crash on Riverstone Parkway
A fatal accident involving a tractor-trailer and an SUV led to the closure of a part of Riverstone Parkway on Tuesday. The incident occurred near the southbound on-ramp to Interstate 575 in Canton where one individual lost their life, as confirmed by Canton Police. The on-ramp was shut down temporarily for investigation and cleanup. Canton Police Chief Ferrell mentioned that the cause of the accident is still being investigated, and they extend their sympathy to the victim's family. The deceased person's identity has not been disclosed.
