Police investigate deadly motorcycle accident
The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) announced that an individual tragically lost their life in a motorcycle accident at the junction of West Colorado Avenue and 32nd Street, just west of Old Colorado City, shortly after midnight on Sunday, August 31. CSPD officials shared that upon arriving at the location, they discovered a motorcycle had collided with a curb and veered off the road. Regrettably, the motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene with no additional injuries reported. The Major Crash Team has assumed responsibility for conducting a thorough investigation. CSPD suspects that speed played a role in the incident.
