Police in Kansas City identify motorcyclist killed in weekend crash.
Over the weekend, the Kansas City Police Department identified a man who lost his life in a collision. The incident occurred on eastbound Interstate 670 and U.S. Route 71 around 11:15 p.m. An initial report revealed that a Honda Africa Twin motorcycle was changing lanes to access the Interstate 29/Interstate 35 entrance ramp when it collided with a blue Dodge Charger. The motorcyclist, Jefferey D. Evans, 37, was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants of the Dodge Charger were unharmed. The investigation into the crash is currently underway.
