Police in Chesapeake investigate crash that killed motorcyclist.
The Chesapeake Police Department is currently investigating a tragic crash that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist on Saturday afternoon. The incident occurred at the intersection of Mount Pleasant Rd. and Willow Oak Rd., involving a truck, a mid-size SUV, and the motorcycle. The identity of the motorcyclist has not been disclosed yet out of respect for the family, as they had not been notified by early Sunday morning. Police mentioned that the motorcyclist was traveling east on Mount Pleasant Rd., while the truck and SUV were heading west. Upon arriving at the scene, authorities found the motorcycle and the male driver on the ground. Despite life-saving efforts, the motorcyclist was declared deceased at the scene.
