Police in Brownsville investigate deadly morning collision
Brownsville police are currently looking into a fatal crash that happened early Wednesday morning. The incident took place at 5:17 a.m. on N. Minnesota Ave at the 1700 block. During the investigation, it was found that the driver involved was 31-year-old Beatriz Castillo, who lost control of her vehicle and struck a metal utility pole. Castillo was taken to a nearby hospital but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries.
