Police in Binghamton attend car crash on Road 363

In Binghamton, New York, authorities were alerted to a possible car accident involving a family of four on Route 363. The incident, which occurred on August 21st around 2:20 PM near Frederick Street, resulted in an unresponsive 29-year-old, a 36-year-old, a 7-year-old girl, and a 5-year-old boy being found in the vehicle. To assist the occupants, the Binghamton Fire Department had to break a window to gain access. They were all subsequently taken to a local hospital, with the children being transferred to Upstate Medical Center as a precaution. Luckily, all four individuals are expected to recover fully, despite suffering from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning after passing out. The car's owner recalled recent exhaust problems that the vehicle had experienced. The family was on their way back to Groton, NY, from a trip.
