Police arrest one person after shooting leads to pursuit, violent collision in Madisonville.

Several individuals were hurt following a severe accident in Madisonville that was triggered by a shooting in the West End on Friday evening. The collision involving two vehicles occurred at the intersection of Chandler Street and Stewart Avenue around 7 p.m. Cincinnati police reported that the individuals involved in the earlier shooting incident on Chestnut Street tried to evade authorities in Winton Hills, leading to a pursuit. Despite losing track of the suspects' vehicle, Norwood officers later spotted it at Madison Road and Red Bank Road, resulting in a chase that ended in the crash at Chandler Street and Stewart Avenue. The collision caused minor injuries to four people, including three children. One suspect was apprehended at the scene, while two others managed to escape. Police found three firearms, including an AR-15 rifle, in the suspects' vehicle. It is believed that the initial shooting in the West End was targeted, with a woman sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. The arrested suspect was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment, with no information released about their identity or age.
