Police: 2 dead after car crashes into pole on I-75 in Sharonville

Ohio State Highway Patrol says that two people are dead after a crash occurred Saturday morning in Sharonville.The crash occurred at approximately 7:56 a.m. on Interstate 75 when a Nissan Altima being operated by a 20-year-old man in the southbound lanes veered off the left side of the roadway and struck a pole.The driver, as well as a 28-year-old passenger, were both pronounced dead at the scene. Neither have yet been identified by police.The two left-most lanes of I-75 south were closed for several hours throughout Saturday morning. The crash occurred at the 15.7 mile marker of I-75.The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Sharonville Police Department, Sharonville Fire Department, and Hamilton County Coroner's Office.The crash remains under investigation by police at this time.
