Surveillance footage from a nearby building captured the incident. The first car stopped. Moments later, the gray Prius drove past the first car, and the victim appeared to have been dragged a short distance from where the first vehicle was, to the corner of an alley. The Prius pulled into the alley, stopped for nearly two minutes, and then drove away, leaving the man lying in the street.Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim."Another person killed for no reason," neighbor James Bey said. “I don’t think it’s fair to the person that died, and now he's gone, and you’re still here living life like nothing ever happened.""It's tragic. A person loses their life walking across the street," said Emmett Wilson, owner of Golden Triangle Distributors, a business located at the intersection.Wilson said he is familiar with concerns along the street."I think it's horrible. We've had a long-running history of speeding cars and accidents at this intersection," he said. "I feel for the person who lost their life, and their family." Pittsburgh police are investigating and urge anyone with information to contact them. Download the WTAE app to stay connected with breaking news.
