Pickup truck collides with home after crash
On Monday morning, two vehicles were involved in a collision that resulted in a pickup truck crashing into a home in Lancaster County. The incident occurred in the 1500 block of Main Street/Route 23 near Fetterville Road in East Earl Township at 9:48 a.m. The impact caused significant damage, leaving a large hole in the home. Emergency crews had to reinforce the structure. The Garden Spot Fire Rescue (GSFR) responded and posted details on their Facebook page, mentioning collaborative efforts with another fire department for structural support. Fortunately, no one was inside the house at the time of the accident. A person in one of the vehicles suffered a wrist injury. The affected section of Main Street/Route 23 was initially closed but has since been reopened. The East Earl Township Police Department is conducting an investigation into the crash.
