People in Plano assist in rescuing driver from fiery car wreck
Tragically, a man was killed in a car crash and ensuing fire on the Dallas Parkway over the weekend. The incident occurred in the 1500 block of the southbound Dallas Parkway around midday on Saturday. Reports indicate that a silver Hyundai Accent veered off the road, hitting a curb, then a concrete power pole, and finally an unoccupied Subaru Legacy parked at a nearby dealership before catching fire. Despite witnesses managing to rescue the driver from the burning vehicle before emergency services arrived, he later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Authorities are currently investigating the details of the crash and have not released the victim's identity at this time.
