Pennsylvania State Police kill suspect in stolen Ohio police car
Authorities were called to a scene involving a police-related shooting and crash on Friday evening on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The incident, captured in a video from Sky 4, showed an overturned Ohio State Highway Patrol vehicle near mile marker 15 in North Sewickley Township, Beaver County. The trooper had responded to a rollover crash on the Ohio Turnpike when he was allegedly assaulted by a man on the shoulder. The suspect then reportedly stole a marked OSHP Dodge Charger and fled onto the PA Turnpike, where a pursuit ensued resulting in the suspect being shot and killed by troopers. With investigations ongoing, the eastbound lanes were temporarily closed at the New Castle exit on Friday night.
