Pedestrian sustains severe injuries in collision on Tidewater Dr.
In Norfolk early Wednesday morning, a serious vehicle-pedestrian crash occurred at the intersection of Stanley Street and Tidewater Drive. The incident, which took place around 5:30 a.m., necessitated the dispatch of officers to the scene. The driver of the vehicle, requiring medical attention, and the pedestrian, who sustained life-threatening injuries, were both located and attended to. The pedestrian was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital. Due to the crash, the southbound lanes of Tidewater Drive at East Little Creek Road will be closed until further notice.
