Pedestrian killed in vehicle accident on I-93 in Salem Wednesday night
A tragic incident occurred on Interstate 93 late Wednesday night when a pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Salem near Exit 2 off-ramp. State Police were notified by a passerby around 11:15 p.m. State troopers arrived on the scene to find the man deceased. The driver involved stayed and is assisting authorities with the investigation. At this time, the victim's name is being withheld until family members are informed.
