Pedestrian killed in Route 9 collision in Moreau
New York State Police are currently looking into a tragic accident in Moreau, where a pedestrian was struck and killed by a commercial vehicle at the junction of Route 9 and Fawn Road. The area between the Northway interchange and Spier Falls Road, as well as the northbound Exit 17 offramp, are closed until further notice. The incident occurred at approximately 11:47 a.m. on Tuesday. The victim, unfortunately, did not survive the crash. The authorities are still investigating the details of the accident.
