Pedestrian killed in early morning crash on Hwy 707

A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a car early Monday morning on Highway 707 in Horry County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 707 and Grand Oak Boulevard. The pedestrian died at the scene. The driver of the car was not injured. The collision remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
