Partial reopening on I-225 North in Aurora after fatal crash prompts closure
A serious accident occurred on I-225 in Aurora on Sunday evening, resulting in the closure of all northbound lanes temporarily. The incident involved a single vehicle and tragically led to the loss of one life. The authorities were called to the scene just south of the Alameda Exit around 6 p.m. The Aurora Police Department is currently investigating the cause of the crash. While two left lanes were reopened shortly after the incident, the right lane will remain closed for an extended period for further investigation.
