Partial closure on C-470 due to rollover accident by Platte Canyon
A rollover crash has led to the closure of parts of Colorado Highway 470 on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred on the westbound side near the Platte Canyon area. Authorities from Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and Colorado State Patrol responded to the single-vehicle crash at around 3:31 p.m. Initial reports indicate that the eastbound and No. 1 lane were obstructed, and there is a suspicion that two vehicles might have been involved. One individual was transported to the hospital with undisclosed injuries. As a result, C-470 is shut down in both directions as investigators and crews work at the scene, causing heavy traffic. Travelers are advised to steer clear of the region and seek alternative paths.
