Paraglider airlifted from Mt. Timpanogos
A man was airlifted to the hospital following a paragliding mishap at Mt. Timpanogos on Monday morning. Utah County Search and Rescue team was called to the scene around 9:30 a.m. after the man crashed while paragliding and injured his leg. Due to the challenging terrain, Life Flight was enlisted to carry out the rescue operation. The individual was hoisted onto the helicopter and swiftly transported to the hospital for treatment. The rescue mission lasted approximately one hour, as per Sgt. Ray Ormond of the Utah County Sheriff's Office. Further details are not available at this time.
