Overnight semitruck crash closes Southbound North South Freeway in Fort Worth
Early Monday morning, there was a collision between a sedan and an 18-wheeler on the Southbound lanes of the North South Freeway near downtown Fort Worth, resulting in a major crash. The accident occurred around 3:30 a.m., just south of Pharr Street, making the truck unable to move and necessitating the closure of all southbound lanes. The driver of the sedan was taken to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries. By 7 a.m., three lanes had been reopened, but authorities were still present at the site conducting investigations. At the moment, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
