Only passenger in seat 11A survives Air India plane crash
The lone survivor of the recent Air India plane crash was 40-year-old British national Viswash Kumar Ramesh. He was seated in 11A near an emergency exit on the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner during its flight from Ahmedabad to London. Ramesh recalled the experience of the crash landing, mentioning that the plane hit a building where medical students lived. Despite suffering a burnt hand, he managed to free himself from his seat and escape through a broken door. Aviation experts noted that Ramesh's seat location, specifically 11A, played a role in his survival due to its proximity to the emergency exit. However, they emphasized that survival in a plane crash is not solely determined by seat location, as each incident is unique. Ramesh was found disoriented with multiple injuries after the crash but is now receiving treatment and is reportedly stable.
