One person seriously injured in single-vehicle crash in Polk County
The Polk County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a serious crash that occurred on Monday morning in the vicinity of NE 96th Street. Lt. Mark Chance, Public Information Officer for the PCSO, mentioned that the incident involved a single-vehicle crash where a female driver was the sole occupant and was ejected from the vehicle. According to Lt. Chance, the vehicle was heading southbound when it veered off the road into the west ditch, colliding with a tree.
