One person killed in Albany pedestrian accident
A fatal pedestrian-involved car crash took place in Albany on Saturday morning, resulting in the death of one individual, as reported by the Albany Police Department. The incident occurred on South Pearl Street at around 5:30 a.m., prompting a response from officers following reports of a serious auto accident involving personal injury. Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement discovered a 58-year-old man with severe injuries after being hit by a vehicle. Sadly, the man was declared deceased on-site by police. South Pearl Street remained closed for several hours while authorities investigated the incident.
