One person killed, another injured in lone vehicle accident in McPherson.
A tragic accident occurred in McPherson County early Friday morning, resulting in the death of a 19-year-old individual identified as Joel Guffey from Hutchison. The crash took place around 5:30 a.m. on I-135, approximately one mile north of Quivira Road. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that a car veered off the road while traveling southbound, then overcorrected and rolled several times before coming to a stop in the southbound lanes facing southwest.
