One person flown to hospital after two-vehicle collision in Charleston
Three individuals sustained injuries in a collision involving two vehicles on Sunday morning in Charleston, New York. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office reported that one person needed to be airlifted by Lifenet. Deputies responded to the incident at the intersection of State Highway 162 and Corbin Hill Road following reports of the crash. It was determined that a 2015 Honda traveling south on Corbin Hill Road failed to yield at the intersection to a 2019 Volkswagen SUV heading west, resulting in the collision. Emergency services transported the injured passengers, one via Lifenet and two by ambulance, to nearby hospitals. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, with the assistance of various emergency response teams.
