One person dead in car crash in Anderson
ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) - One person was reported to have died in a car crash in Anderson County. At 5:40 p.m., a 2013 Kia Soul was driving on Martin Road near Levert Lane, approximately five miles south of Anderson, when it swerved off the road and struck a tree. There were two passengers reported to be in the vehicle at the time of the crash. The driver was transported to a local hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries. Their identity has not been released yet. The passenger was also transported to a local hospital, and their current condition is unknown.
