One injured in tractor incident in Witt
Emergency services were called to N. Main St. and W. Raymon Ave. in Witt on Saturday afternoon for a man reportedly trapped under a tractor. The Witt Volunteer Fire Department, along with support from Nokomis and Filmore Fire Protection Districts, quickly responded to the scene. Fortunately, upon arrival, the man was found to be free from under the tractor, although injured. He was swiftly transported to a landing zone by the Nokomis-Witt area ambulance service to await a medical helicopter. Details regarding the man's condition remain unknown at this time.
