One individual rescued from vehicle following accidents on Centennial Bridge
Two separate incidents occurred around 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday on the Centennial Bridge. Firstly, emergency responders utilized the Jaws of Life to extract a person from a car at the bridge above Modern Woodmen Park. The individual was then taken from the scene by an ambulance. In another incident further north on the bridge, a car was found facing the wrong way with its entire front wheel assembly missing. Near the Davenport end of the bridge, our team observed what seemed to be another collision, with emergency responders present at 9 p.m. Fire trucks, ambulances, and police officers were all on site. We will continue to communicate with law enforcement to relay further information as it becomes accessible.
