One hospitalized after fiery tanker and bus crash shuts down I-595 in Davie, officials say
Crews extinguished a major fire Sunday morning after a gasoline tanker collided with a public transport bus on I-595 in Davie, authorities said. One person was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center with severe and life-threatening injuries.The crash happened around 10 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-595 near Flamingo Road, prompting a massive response from Davie Fire Rescue, Sunrise Fire Department, and BSO Fire Rescue HazMat teams.
