One fatality, multiple injuries in tour bus crash on California freeway in Hacienda Heights
A tragic incident occurred on the westbound 60 Freeway near Azusa Avenue in Hacienda Heights, where a tour bus crashed, resulting in one fatality and 32 injuries. The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene around 5:01 a.m. on Sunday to assist the approximately 63 passengers on board. The Los Angeles County Fire Department and multiple CHP units conducted a large-scale response to the situation, with two individuals sustaining critical injuries and 32 others being taken to nearby hospitals. While most lanes on the freeway have reopened, one lane remains closed as authorities continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
