One dead, three injured in accident on Highway 77 in Bay County - WMBB
BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) - A Panama City man is dead after driving his car the wrong way on Highway 77. It happened around 8:15 Monday night near Lucy Lane in the sand hills area of Bay County According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 48-year-old man was heading south in the northbound lanes of Highway 77 when he crashed head-on into two other vehicles. The passenger in the wrong-way vehicle, a 46-year-old female from Panama City, was seriously injured and was taken to a local hospital. The driver and passenger in one of the other cars were also seriously hurt. Troopers are continuing to investigate exactly what happened.
