One dead, one critically hurt in early morning crash on Milwaukee’s south side
MILWAUKEE--- One person is dead and another critically injured after a single-car crash o Milwaukee's south side early Sunday morning. According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the crash happened around 2:55 a.m. near South 36th Street and West Mitchell Street, just south of American Family Field. Police say the vehicle was involved in a fatal, single-car accident. The victim has not yet been identified and was pronounced dead at the scene. A second person inside the car was critically injured and taken to the local hospital with severe injuries. Investigators say speed was a factor in the crash. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office confirms it was called to the scene.
