One dead in vehicle crash on 22/322; road shut
In Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, an accident involving a single vehicle caused the closure of a section of 22/322 on Monday morning. Emergency services are on the scene handling the situation. The incident took place on the westbound side of 22/322 near mile marker 230 in Reed Township at approximately 3 a.m. Fortunately, all lanes have since been reopened, but a temporary detour is still in effect. Motorists are advised to follow the detour by exiting at Mountain Road, crossing over Peter's Mountain, and re-entering at Halifax. Alternatively, drivers can opt to take 11/15 through Perry County and reconnect north of Duncannon. The road is expected to be fully operational again by 9:30 a.m.
