One dead following fatal crash with fuel truck in Charlotte
A man is dead after crashing into another car in Charlotte on Sunday morning.Vermont State Police say 23-year-old David Santiago Quimbay Gonzalez was traveling south on Ethan Allen Highway when his 2009 Kia Rio crossed over the center line and crashed head-on into a 2025 Freightliner Cascadia that was hauling compressed natural gas at about 5:15 a.m. Gonzalez was not wearing a seat belt, according to police. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Cascadia was not injured.
