One dead after I-96 crash near Okemos
LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — One person was killed in a crash earlier this morning on I-96 southeast of Okemos. Police say that it was a one-vehicle crash. Ingham County Traffic Alerts reports I-96 eastbound and westbound were shut down between Okemos Rd. and Williamston Rd. Police have not identified the person who was killed. Police did not confirm if anyone else was in the vehicle at the time of the crash. Police declined to confirm any other details at this time. 6 News will update this story when more information is made available.
