One dead after Clearfield County car crash, troopers investigating

CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The coroner's office was sent to a car crash in Clearfield County that temporarily closed a section of roadway Friday afternoon. The single vehicle crash happened in Brady Township on DuBois Rockton Road between Murray Road and Blue Jay Road. All lanes were closed to traffic but have since reopened. According to Clearfield County Coroner Kim Shaffer-Snyder, only one car was involved in the crash and the driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, died as a result. The identity of the driver was not made available due to the notification of next of kin. State police are investigating the crash.
