One dead after big rig crash on Interstate 5 in San Joaquin County, CHP says
One person died Tuesday morning after an Interstate 5 crash involving a big rig in San Joaquin County, officials said. The crash was reported shortly before 6:20 a.m. on northbound I-5 at the Peltier Road onramp, California Highway Patrol traffic logs indicate. Caltrans maps as of 7:20 a.m. also show traffic is backed up closer to Highway 12.Crews are expecting to close the No. 2 lane for at least two hours, CHP's Stockton division said in a social media post.KCRA 3 is working to gather more information on what led to the crash and if there were any other injuries.See road conditions here.See news happening?
