Officials identify victims of deadly Lansing plane crash

The Bath Township Police have identified all three individuals who tragically lost their lives in a recent plane crash near Lansing. Details from the investigation were shared at a press conference on Sunday. The small jet crashed in the Rose Lake State Wildlife Area on Thursday evening, igniting a fire that claimed the lives of the three men aboard. First responders faced challenges reaching the secluded crash site in a wooded area with no road access. Chief Mark Koonter from the Bath Township Fire Department described the effort needed to access the site, commending the dedication and hard work of his team. The victims have been named as Rodolfo Pimentel Zamora and Francisco Del Moral Jimenez, both pilots, and Alvaro Espejo Javier Rodriguez, a mechanic. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are conducting an investigation at the site, with cleanup expected to be completed soon.
