Officer injured in car crash - KWKT
A police officer from the Harker Heights Police Department was involved in a two-vehicle collision along with the occupants of the other vehicle in Harker Heights, Texas. The accident took place on the 200 block of East Central Texas Expressway. Police Chief Betiale Hawkins II mentioned that the incident occurred on Wednesday while the officer was on the way to a priority call with emergency lights activated. The second vehicle was identified as a Toyota SUV. Both the officer and the occupants of the Toyota were taken to Seton Hospital for medical assessment. The Police Chief stated that no severe injuries have been reported, and no arrests have been made.
