Off-duty dispatchers save 2 from fiery wrong-way crash

A man was taken into custody in Robinson Township, Pennsylvania after a wrong-way driver caused a crash involving two vehicles on the Parkway West. One person is still in the hospital with a long recovery ahead. The stranded individuals were aided by around a dozen good Samaritans, including Brian Craig, an overnight 911 operator and dispatcher for Allegheny County. After finishing his shift, Craig saw the fiery aftermath of the collision and sprang into action to rescue the trapped drivers. With the help of other passersby, they managed to free the men from their vehicles before the flames spread. The suspected DUI driver has been identified as 22-year-old Tristan Larson and is facing charges pending lab results. Craig expressed his willingness to assist in such situations again, emphasizing the importance of helping others in need.
